After a very successful attempt, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has invited EIT Experts to hold classes for the second time at their location in Oakland. When the class was held there in the fall, there were students who traveled to Oakland from as far as Sacramento, Gilroy, Fremont, San Jose and San Francisco. There was a variety of students who came from both Caltrans and industry. Since the classes are offered to the general public, such a venture will result in establishing a healthy contact between Caltrans employees and the private industry.
